Would you like to have more time?

According to quantum physics, time doesn’t really exist. In fact, Einstein posited that the past, present, and future are happening simultaneously.

While that may be true, most of us live by the clock and time is very real to us. We often lead so busy lives that the thought of having more of that precious resource we call time would be a godsend.

Many successful but overly busy Americans now view time as an even more valuable resource than money, often feeling rich in cash but poor in time.

We are always in a hurry. According to Google, if a website is more than 250 milliseconds slower than a competitor, we move on. However, if an online video takes more than 5 seconds to load, we run.

We are so obsessed with time that there is even a “death clock” that tells how long you have to live!

They all have the same 24 hours every day. But what if you could play with the system? What if you could extend the time?

It was about twenty years ago that I started playing with time. I was in the process of completing my master’s degree. At night. After working all day. All I wanted to do, after such a long day, was get home to my husband and dog. And my bed! Class ended at 9:50 pm and it was a 20 minute drive home. And yet he wanted to be home by 10:00. Impossible, right?

As soon as class ended, I started to affirm, “I’ll be home by 10:00.” I didn’t check the time on the way home and just I kept focusing on being home at 10:00. And would you believe it? Almost every time, as I was driving to the garage, the digital clock read exactly 10:00!

Through the years, I kept playing with the expansion of time.. I recently had an appointment at 6:30 and wanted to make a stop before then. According to the clock, I didn’t have enough time. This is the scenario that played out in my head:

Be inside: “What do you want?”

I: “I want to do both and have a lot of time.”

Being Interior, who does not believe in lack and limitation: “You can have whatever you want.”

So I proceeded to do both and even made it to my 6:30 appointment with time to spare. Being able to expand a “scarce resource” like time is great fun!

Most people familiar with the Law of Attraction accept that you can have whatever you want if you are willing to let go of limiting beliefs. So it should be possible to create more time if you think you can.

Have so many expressions that make us feel like we never have enough time. Notice how you feel when you think:

* I am always pressed for time.

* As time permits.

* I’m always hurry.

* I run out of time.

* There are not enough hours in the day.

Now see how you feel when imagine that time is on your side:

* I have all the time in the world.

*Time is my friend.

* My time is mine.

* I have a lot of time.

* I move at my own pace, always relaxed.

It’s your choice: lack of time or abundance of time. Test it. Set your intention to get somewhere or complete a task in less time than it usually takes and see what happens.. Remind yourself throughout the day that you have the luxury of time to do whatever you want to do.

Knowing that I can expand time, I wonder if I can speed it up too. I think I’ll try that at next week’s dentist appointment!
